Center Church believes it is our responsibility to provide a God-centered education program that invites all ages to “celebrate God with us”

On Sunday mornings from 10:00 am – 10:45am we have opportunities for Bible study for ages 2 years – adult. A nursery is provided for children under the age of two. The preschool, early elementary, and upper elementary classes are growing their faith through Bible stories, activities and crafts using the Abingdon Press, Grow, Proclaim, Serve curriculum. In addition to Bible study, the youth and adult classes participate in mission Grow projects, prepare and serve meals to the homeless and assist those in need.

Center’s children’s ministry, the Young Believers, meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month with opportunities for fellowship, Bible study, music, and mission activities for children ages pre-school – 5th grade. Some of the mission activities include packing snack packs for the Out of the Garden Project, assembling care packages for the homeless, collecting food for Thanksgiving baskets, and walking in a satellite mini walk to raise money for CROP. The children participate in the annual Summerfield Founders Day parade where they decorate a float with the Vacation Bible School theme and invite the community to attend Bible School. On Christmas Eve, the children don costumes and present a dramatization of the Christmas story. There are no speaking parts so visiting children are invited to be a part of the play.
